Conservatories Cleaning Category – Hard Water

Over time conservatory glass can start to wear. It’s easy for dirt and grime to build up on the surface, which due to the amount of glass in the structure can become visible from both inside and outside. The amount of dirt that builds up on the windows will affect how much natural light comes through, impacting the warmth of the room as well as how the room feels. However, if you are cleaning the windows with hard water which is left untreated, it can cause limescale, which contains calcium and magnesium, to build up on your windows or frames. It’s crucial to remove any stubborn spots on the windows which may affect the appearance of your home.

If you are looking to clean windows in hard water areas we would recommend using RO filtration. This is a water process where you demineralize or deionize water which filters out any molecules or large particles, such as salt, chlorine and any other contaminants.
